Is that there is less GAME to be had on the 360. Since so much info on a disc has to go to more items. Which would contribute to our less amount of gaming time on a disc. .... SAD

I think that these Square games were meant to be released on the PS3 but since MS bought them out they are now "ported" (USED VERY LOOSELY) to the 360 which requires more discs. ALL SPECULATION
Game devs develop around the console so if this had been intended for the 360 it more than likely could have been fewer discs.
There has been plenty great games put out by SE since the PS1. They might not be to your taste but they are still really good games.

I bring this up because, I feel, that these games were originally meant to be put on the Blue-ray format. Therefore when MS bought the rights to these games, probably while the games were under development, they had to put it onto multiple discs. (All speculation.)
I'm just saying this shouldn't happen because developers make games for around a console. So, multiple discs on the 360 shouldn't ever happen. It barely has happened on the PS2, which originally used the DVD5 form...
FF VII, FF VIII, and FF IX were an amazing feat of the time. For Square to do what they did, with the technology at the time, they had to do more than one disc. CD-roms having, at the time, near cinematic cut-scenes was unthinkable. It had to be multi-disc.
These games coming out for the 360 have no reason to be multi-disc. For any next-gen console to run a game with multiple discs is blasphamy.

The PSP would suck with a harddrive. They should just increase internal flash memory. (btw iPod touch uses flash memory.)
I bring up this difference because flash memory is a much quicker way to play games and, for portable devices, should be the storage of choice. Harddrives should now stick only to consoles (If Sony goes with a harddrive based PSP I will buy one for the sole purpose of smashing it.) It is up to the game developers to add this feature to these games. The problem is, when you make a sweet soundtrack to accompany your game you're not going to want people to listen to their own music while playing.
I don't know why Sony made it up to developers but I am 99.9% positive that they can change in game music to make it a firmware issue. (This would make it a priority over the software music.)

I have it on my iPod, I have it on my PS3, I have it on my XBOX, and I have it on one of my computers. The possibilities you have with Linux are vast.
Since this is a gaming website I will say this:
Not many games are available for Linux, yet. I am sure the library will grow, in the future. If you're a PC gamer I don't suggest this. If you're just a user and want more out of your PC you'll find that Linux will be the fix you crave.
